I have a lovely wife, we have been married for almost 9 years now. We have a 2 year old son who is a joy to have around. I am not doing too well in teaching him Italian but my wife speaks spanish so he is picking that up well.
Since I have been home I have done a few things. I got an Arts degree with a major in Psychology and Spanish (no Italian at the university I was at). Did a diploma of Education and taught Italian in high school for 5 years to students in years 7 - 12 (all the levels for junior and senior high in the american system) I just recently changed careers and am now doing food quality consulting where I have the privilege of visiting factories that are traditionally Italian and make traditional italian cheeses and ice creams.
I have had several callings since I have been back from Executive Secretary to primary teacher, counsellor in a branch presidency, elders quorum president and I am currently finishing my first year as the Bishop of my ward - What a learning curve!
Probably said too much so I hope to hear from anybody out there. |
