Life since the mission has been pretty interesting. After getting married and finishing up at BYU, my wife and headed back to Tokyo to work for Melaleuca as their Operations Manager. We had a blast, but our 2-year work commitment was interrupted when I got really sick with Ulcerative Colitis, resulting in a series of 3 surgeries to remove my large intestine. Sadly enough, my sickness forced us to depart Japan prematurely, after just a year. Since that time, I put in a few more years at the same company in the US, then went back to MBA school at Thunderbird. I am now up in St Paul, Minnesota working for 3M's International Business Development group with responsibility over Japan and Korea. I'm married with 3 little girls (Aubrie Ayana-4yrs & Elliana Megumi-2yr, Teyah Mei - born 6-14-07) who all have Japanese middle names just in case we ever get back to Japan again.
As for my dodes, Last I talked to Burgess, he was up in Seattle finishing up his undergrad and thinking about going to law school. Maetani has been going to Med school for the past 100 years. Hindman is down in Phoenix, just finished up law school and is getting ready to take the bar. As for the rest of my dodes and mission buds, you need to shoot me an email and get in touch!
