It's hard to believe the mission was more than 20 years ago--In some ways it seems like yesterday. Many good memories and good companions--Peter Morgan, David Sommers, Brandon Balkman, Kurt Bailey. I spent half my mission in Nayoro--great people there, and five months in Kushiro (Higashikawa).
After my mission, I graduated from BYU, then stayed for a masters. I met my wife there. We have 4 great kids--the oldest will be on his own mission soon. We live in Charleston, SC--it's warm and beautiful--I couldn't take any more Nayoro winters. I'd love to hear from any old friends from Hokkaido. |
