Comments: My lovely wife and I met on the BYU Ballroom Dance Team. After graduation, we bought a home in Utah, and there live with our 8 children and love growing up with them. They love music and sports. So do we, as well as the many games and recitals we love attending with them. Some of my companions were Balkman, Baum, Clifton, Crow, Hallings, Sakamaki, Wilde, and Wise choro. The March 31, 06 Reunion was terrific, thanks to Smith Choro and others who helped to plan it. Wasn't it great to see the Presidents and their wives again?
My wife's father told me something I never knew about mission presidents. He was the President of the Spokane Washington Mission. He said a mission president gets to sleep consistently every night from about 11:58pm until about 12:02am, when the last missionary hangs up for the night and the early calls from missionaries begin for the next day. That goes on for about 3 years, he said. So it is a real test of one's "unwearyingness," but he loved it. |
