Since returning from my mission I met and married my wife, Jeanette Akagi in Salt Lake Temple. We have 3 boys: Yoshi 14 (step son), Will 6 and Seiji 3. I am a financial planner with H&R Block Financial Advisors. My wife stays home and raises the boys. Since we have been married we have spent much of the last 7 years at the Japanese Dai Ichi Ward. My wife has attended the Dai Ichi Ward almost her entire life. Jeanette has served as a primary teacher, secretary in primary, 1st counselor in primary, stake young women's secretary, young women's president and currently as youth sunday school teacher and 2nd counselor in young women's. I have served as a primary teacher, young men's president, scoutmaster, financial clerk, high counselor and currently as bishop. Richard Wilcox (also served in Sapporo Mission around the same time) is one of my counselors. Elder Okawa's dad is the Branch President of the Japanese Branch in Provo. Brother Tsutomu Abe from the Kotoni Ward is also in our ward. The boys enjoy snowboarding, playing soccer, tennis, basketball and the piano (they don't enjoy this last one). |
