Comments: I graduated from BYU in 1984 and married Lana Ray. We settled in Arizona for ten years, then moved to Boise, Idaho. We had nine children, seven girls and two boys. My oldest is now married and my oldest son is serving a mission in Russia, Novosibirsk.
I have my own construction company in Boise. In 2003 my wife passed away from cancer just prior to our 20th anniversary. I recently re-married to Deborah, and gained three new kids in the bargain. We have four attending BYU right now. Life is good. I've served in many church callings through the years. I still think about Sapporo all the time. Recently I was able to return to Japan for the first time since the mission. I met president and sister Hotta in Nagoya and had a nice dinner and visit with them. They are as wonderful as ever, and even more committed to the church now than before, if that is possible.
Hope you are all well and happy! |
