After my mission while saving $$ to return to Japan, I accidentally(?) found my beautiful eternal companion- Alice, by sharing the gospel w/her 22 yrs ago. We now have four "choice spirits" to bless our lives: Thomas 20, Christy 18, Nichole 13, & Rosemary 7. I love my family & the Lord very much. It took me several years to get over those mission withdrawls, but now my wife & I are on a mission together to do all we can to help each other, & our kids RWH to our Heavenly Father. I'm sorry if that sounds preachy but wasn't Christ's church in it's fullness restored? Isn't that why we served? Are we doing the things we learned on our missions to keep our testimonies strong & the spirit in our lives? As Nephi said, we must "press forward.. " and "endure to the end". So get busy while it is still day & love those who are around you, because the gospel is still true! (Are you?) Hey you! Yeah you!! Why are you still reading this? Go & get your temple recommend renewed & make those calls to your HT families. Just DO IT! And "don't forget to pray." Always. Elder Smith |
