Stories: Where was the Toko apato?

Handly Choro,
Where is Asahikawa's Toko apartment? I've never heard of that area.
I actually served in Asahikawa's Suehiro apartment. Right when I moved into Suehiro in 94, we helped close down (move furniture out etc) an apartment that was due east of Suehiro over the river but I can't remember the name of it. Was that Toko or is that chigau and just an area that was closed before I got to Japan in July of 93? I'm curious to find out.

Dillon Choro,
Toko is the name of the chome where the missionaries lived who were part the
Toyaoka Shibu attended. It was East of the Eki and the oldest ward, also called Nishi at the time. I heard later that the membership there was consolidated to the ward. Suehiro is all the way across town. Of course, the
Suehiro building was the nicest.
