When I was in the Sapporo mission from 1981 to 1983, Nayoro was an operating branch. I took a trip up there in the middle of the winter to deliver a heater to the unfortunate companionship whose heater had broken. I enjoy showing my children the picture of the elders with their large parkas, gloves, goggles, face masks, and boots. I don't know exactly when the branch was closed after 1983.
