Greetings to everyone who served in the Sendai Mission. Hope that each of you is well and surviving life. Below are a some things I've been up to since being released in the fall of 2000.
Worked at the 2002 SLC Olympics for NHK with Lattin, Thomas, Devore, and others from the Sendai Mission.
Graduated from BYU-Idaho in April 2006 in Business Management- Marketing. Travelled back to Japan for the first time since being released for two weeks in early May 2006 with friends including Thomas Choro.
Instead of finding a real job after graduating ... I´ve been traveling to foriegn lands (Europe and South America), on and off, for the past year. I wish that exploring the world was my career and I got paid to do it ... instead I just starting a real job in Alaska managing a tourism company that I've driven motorcoahes for 3 summers.
I've been blessed in my life to have been around and get to know many of you while serving in Sendai. Thanks for all the wonderful memories and life lessons learned. I hope and pray that we can each live in a way pleasing to the Lord and serve him like we did as missionaries. |
