I am currently living in lovely (or at least passable) Huber Heights, Ohio (a suburb of Dayton), working for a US subsidiary of the Japanese mechanical press manufacturer Aida. I am the resident tech writer, and when not trying to make pithy sentences, I also do translating and interpreting, though I try to get out of interpreting when I can!
After graduating from BYU in 1990, I spent 3 years on the JET Program, working in the City Hall in a spectacularly beautiful small ocean-front town--Nango-cho--in Miyazaki Prefecture.
I married Cindy in 1995 in the midst of grad school at BYU, and we now have three kids (Erin, Cameron, and Makenna) who are truly handfuls, but cute/handsome! Perhaps that would explain why so many people exclaim that they look just like me!? (Check out the photos on our family homepage!)
