Comments: I have been married for ten years and have three beautiful children. I was recently released from the bishopric in my ward, and am currently serving on the High counsel. I am greatful that I had the opportunity to serve in the GREATEST mission on earth. I had wonderful experiences that shaped my life, and was blessed to serve with great companions.
I recently had the opportunity to meet a missionary serving in my stake from the Japan Tokyo North mission, Elder Nakanishi. His dad was the bishop in Maebashi when I served there, when he was only ten years old. He transfered into our stake and came into sacrament meeting with his companion. He and his companion came onto the stand to sit down behind me, and I thought that he looked very familiar. After the meeting, he came up to me and asked if I had served a mission in Japan. He remembered his family having me and my companion over for dinner. It was great to see him now serving the Lord. |
