I was about to yell into the phone when Van Der Leek called. It was almost 10:00 pm and I was trying to get my new baby son to sleep. Put me on the do not call list! You're who? You want to know if I served in the Tokyo North Mission? Who are you again?
I was a bit slow on the uptake, but glad for his persistence. I'm looking forwarding seeing all of you at the reunion. I suppose I feel a little like Jacob. The mission at this time seems like it was a dream. So, I have to admit I can't remember what many of you look like. I can't remember first names... did I ever know any?
I can barely remember my own childrens names. Btw, when I finally grew up, I did get married. My lovely wife has made six wonderfull children. We had to wait through four girls to get the boys, but they were all worth it.
