Comments:
I'd better mention my family first. My wife, Laura grew up in the same town I did, but as she's 3 years younger, we never really knew each other.

Laura and I waited, what some of you would call an eternity, to have kids. We were married in June of '98 and our first child, a boy named Jadon, was born Oct. of '04. His sister was born Sept. of '06. Quite a nice spacing if you ask me. The gap to #3 is longer. Devon was born Sept. of '09. #4 was earlier than planned at Aug. of '10. That's right, 11 months apart. Not recommended.

I may have the record for how long it took to get through a bachelor's degree - 8 years. As you can imagine, there were a lot of starts and stops. I got my EE degreee in 2003, sort of used it for 2 years, and then went a different direction; I was an Outside Sales Account Manager for an Electical/Electronics Distributor. [old news - I just quit that (10/06) to pursue my own business full-time. I'm in the middle of developing an internet application that will be used to provide a set of services to HOAs.]

We know how the housing market turned out! Bad timing. Instead, I got a job as a programmer analyst for Sutter Health. I'm just now (7/11) taking a new job with them as well as a programmer for their pharmacy department. Talk about a great raise!

I noticed out of the 18-22 companions that I had (a lot of temporary 3-somes), most haven't signed up here. Too bad. But as you can see, I myself didn't think to look for this place until today (Jan '06). [updated on 7/20/11]

Well, those of you who knew me, I'd love to hear from you. You may have to jog my memory unless you were in a TV show or movie that I've seen a million times. Just kidding. I'm sure I'll remember you. I hope you're doing well.
