Elder Brian Payne of Spanish Fork, died of Cancer Monday, September 22, 2003. He came home after his mission (April 2001 - April 2003) feeling a bit of pain in his jaw. They originally thought it was a tooth problem. Later they determined it was cancer. He has battled this since his return home from his mission in April. He remained faithful and positive to the end. He left without fearing death. Undoubtedly he has earned a great reward.
A funeral will be held at 11:00am Friday September 26th. The funeral will be held at the Spanish Fork Stake Center. (Directions: Take the Price exit off of I-15 proceed East. At the intersection with McDonalds and Albertsons, turn right immediately there will be a Y in the road, bear left onto 800 East Proceed to Stake Center at 200 South 800 E.)
President & Sister Mark P. Durham will be speaking at the funeral.
