Stationed at Fort Knox, Ky. Baptised August 19, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky by Elder David Royall, confirmation by Elder
J. Roland Ashby. Now live in Massachusetts, married with four children, fourteen grandchildren. My wife, Margarete, was baptised into the church in 1967. We have held many callings over the years, including my serving as Bishop of our ward from 1989 to 1994, serving on our stake High Council, serving as Stake Clerk (at one point serving as both Stake Clerk and on the High Council at the same time). I now serve as a Sealer in the Boston, MA Temple, called by Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley, set apart and sealing power conferred upon me by him. I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT THE LORD'S MISSIONARIES FOUND ME, MY WIFE AND OUR FAMILY, AND MORE GRATEFUL TODAY THAN EVER TO BE A MEMBER OF THE LORD'S CHURCH. My faith and testimony are a great strength in my life, living by gospel teachings brings such a wonderful spirit into our life. |
