Our son, Elder Bartok (Ference) age 18, has been recently called to serve in the Kentucky Louisville mission. He is excited and we are excited for him. Within days after receiving his call we watched one of our favourite movies together, Secretariat. One interesting aspect of his call to serve in Kentucky is that his older sister served 12 years ago in the neighbouring mission ( Cincinnati Ohio) mission and served on Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Elder Bartok is and always has been an obedient and valiant young man and we are proud of his choice to serve as a missionary for the church. We know he will serve honourably and appreciate the help and support of those who will have jurisdiction over him. We are so thankful to be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and to be parents of a soon to be serving missionary . Elder Bartok enters the MTC on January 7, 2015. |
