We have lived in Escondido, near San Diego for 20 years. My wife Marissa and I met at BYU. She was from Burbank, California. I majored in TV and minored in Korean, she got a Master's in Speech Pathology. I taught at the MTC. I studied film music scoring at UCLA.
I have been in the TV and Film business for 26 years. We have 4 girls and 1 boy. 3 in college, 1 in high school, and 1 in middle school. We have a very musical family. My eldest daughter is a Jazz Vocal major at BYU, and the other kids all sing and play. I played in a few post-mission rock bands. Marissa played keys in one of those bands. Writing and producing music for TV and film has been a large part of my career.
Played bass in the New Horizon/Tender Apples reunion concert in 2005. We also attended the 50th Anniversary celebration in Seoul that year. Toured Korea with New Horizon in November of 2008. What a great experience! Saw many old friends and members that my comps and I baptized!!!
My son and I are into the Munoa family motorsports. Drag racing and road racing. Between brothers, nephews, and us two, we run more than 10 race cars: Mopar-Mitsubishi-VW-Honda-Porsche.
My kids got to meet Rhee Ho Nam and hear his stories before he passed away. They cherish that memory. My wife and I have served in many callings in our ward and hope to serve a mission together in 2015. If you're coming to the San Diego area, call! We'd love to host any KPM alumni. We have had Dave Palmer, Larry Myler and Keith Monroe stop by. |
