After going home to Iowa I attended BYU for two years where I met my beautiful wife Patricia of Santiago, Chile. I spent just over 7 years serving in the United States Army, living in Tacoma, WA; Germany, and Colorado Springs, CO. We now live in Las Vegas. I have 6 children one boy and 5 daughters. 4 of them are out on their own now and my youngest daughter just got baptized. I have three grandsons and they keep me running. I owe everything good in my life to the gospel of Jesus Christ. though it's been so many years ago I still remember Korea and those fine Elders I served with warmly. I really miss the land of the morning calm. I have served in elder's quorum presidencies, Young Men's presidencies, primary, sunday school, ward mission leader, clerk, and am now on second time as an executive secretary. I was sad to hear President Rhee had passed on. I would have loved to have seen him at least once more. |
