Retired in 2002 from Brigham Young University as a Professor in the Asian and Near Eastern Languages Department.
He grew up in both Japan and Korea and was fluent in Korean, Japanese and English. He relocated to the United States in 1984 (living in Orem, Utah).
He completed a doctorate in Educational Leadership at BYU and received a Masters in Education from Yonsei University in Seoul Korea.
Baptized in 1954 as one of the founding members of the LDS Church in Korea.
Ho Nam Rhee served as Stake President, Mission President, Regional Representative, and area Director of the Church Education System in Korea. He also served as Bishop of the Asian Ward of Brigham Young University 11th Stake and a branch resident at the Missionary Training Center. |
