Comments:
Hi,

My wife Julie and I have two daughters, Megan and Heidi. We live in the Chicago, Illinois area where I am a medical student at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. I am on an Army scholarship. I'll be a doctor in the Army for several years. Currently, my first choice for a specialty is orthopaedic surgery. Julie and I would like to eventually work in or help establish a clinic or hospital and school in Madagascar or Uganda. I'm so thankful for the things I learned and the experiences I had in Madagascar. The Lord blesses us more than we deserve. As happy and as faithful as the Malagasy people are, I don't want to forget how poor and sick so many of them are, especially the children and elderly who have to dig through garbage to find food to eat, or the thousands of crippled people there who beg for help every day. May we all be blessed with charity.

LDS QUOTE:
"Wouldn’t this be a good time for a little self-evaluation to determine if we still have the same relationship with our Father in Heaven that we enjoyed in the mission field? If the world has diverted us from the practice of prayer, we then have lost a great spiritual power. Maybe it is time that we rekindle our missionary spirit through more frequent, consistent, and mighty prayer."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
