I was sent to Majuro in 1977 to open up the inland as the third missionary. Elder Wardle and Elder Cooper were the firs two. There was only one member of the church when we got there. We could not find him but ran into Eldred Fewkes who got the Cobra Plant running who happen to be a member. Misao Lokeijak was the first to be baptized on the inland on 4/23/77 along with his wife Mirasko. When I left there were twenty two members and we met in the Seventh day adventist building for church. If any one knows Almataline Kabua or Jibba Kabua can you let me how they are dong? we taught both of them when I was there. i |
