I have a new email address! goofyteancum@yahoo.com Hey Whaz' up, Elders!!? It's been a while since I've written in this thing, so I thought I would revise it a bit. A lot has happened lately. Back on January 13th of this year, I thought I'd pick a fight with a moving Chevy Silverado truck!! My motorcycle's clutch snapped while I was riding it, so I had to walk it the rest of the way home. While I was walking it, a truck hit me!! Some kid was driving crazy! The bad news is...it hit me hard and mangled me pretty good. I broke my left arm in two places (I have titanium plates in it now), I broke my left leg in three places (the bone was sticking clean out of my leg!), and I broke my right leg and dislocated my right knee pretty bad (my knee bent sidways), not to mention the chunk of my right leg that I'm missing now. I almost lost my right leg! The good news is...I won the fight!! The truck was totaled. I was in the hospital for a month my first stay, and then a week and a half my second stay, and unfortunately, I got a couple more stays to go. I couldn't move my legs for 4 months (I was in bed and a wheel chair), and the doctors didn't know if I was going to be able to walk again--but guess what!--the priesthood works, and I've been walking with crutches for 2 months, and now I walking with my pimp cane!! I just want everyone to know how greatful I am for my beautiful wife who took care of me through it all, my family for their support, the gospel in my life, the doctors who put me back together again, and the priesthood for helping me heal quickly...I'm almost there! I'm doing good, so no worries! Anyone out there that recognizes me (and those who don't), send me a message! It'd be good to hear from you guys!! |
