The Mission Home | Companions: Michael Reber Hale | Your Occupation: High School Principal | Spouse: Suzanne Thompson | Comments: I remember my mission service fondly. I had great companions... in the greatest mission in the world. I miss Presidente Whetten and his wonderful wife, Kate. They were the salt of the earth!
Just an update...I graduated from the University of Arizona (Tucson) with duel degrees in English and Spanish and received my Master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). I am the principal of North Cache 8th & 9th Center (1100 students). It is located in Richmond, Utah, in the Cache Valley. It is a beautiful area near great fishing, hiking and skiing.
I have five children and my sweet wife, Suzanne, is a second grade teacher at Lewiston Elementary School. She graduated from Utah State University...an Aggie!
We love to fish as a family. We have a small cabin north of Heber, Utah in Timberlakes where we spend much of the summer fishing at Mirror, Lily and Strawberry Lake. We enjoy the Cache Valley winters by skiing and snowmobiling as a family. We do everything as a family, enjoying each others company!
We have three outstanding sons and two beautiful daughters. I also have three terrific grandchildren that I tend to spoil! We have one son, Landon, who is serving in Argentina (Neuquen). Another son, Luke, is serving in the Mexico Guadalajara East Mission. I am happy to see them in Spanish speaking countries!
Over the years since my mission, I have served in several bishoprics in my home wards, as well as in university wards at Utah State University. I have had many other wonderful callings in the church at the ward and stake levels. My testimony has grown stronger and stronger over the years. Life is filled with challenges; I have had my share, but the gospel keeps us anchored, and I am so grateful for it. I am currently serving in the high priest quorum leadership. Life is good! Sea Feliz, Sea Mormon! |
