My wife, Eileen, and I will soon be serving our first mission. The PEF has asked us to serve in Argentina although they said the Brethren may throw a wrench in that. We expect our call any day now.
We both were educators in Oklahoma and moved to Utah upon retirement two years ago. We have five boys, all of whom served missions. Post mission, they all came west and settled in Utah, Idaho, and Nevada so we moved to be close to them and our twelve grandchildren.
We live in beautiful Cache Valley and have found it to be a welcome respite from a troubled world. I am currently serving as a Spanish speaking missionary for the Spanish Branch in Hyrum; a calling I absolutely love. For the first time in our lives, we live next to a Temple and try to attend once a week...something we dearly enjoy. |
