Ken Barnhurst was called on January 17, 1999 to serve
as Stake President of the Pueblo, Colorado Stake.
Dave Brown was sustained as Stake President of the St. John's
Arizona Stake on January 28, 1996.
Eran A. Call was released as a member of the Second Quorum of
the Seventy during the October 2000 General Conference. He was called
to this position on April 5, 1997. He retired as CES director of
Mexico and is a retired BYU faculty member, and is a former department
store manager, and real estate and building developer. He is a former missionary
training center director, mission president, stake patriarch, stake president's
counselor and high councilor. He has a bachelor's degree from BYU and a
master of business administration degree from New York University. He and
his wife, Katherine Groesbeck Call, are parents of nine children.
Mario L. Carlos M. served as the President of the Mexico Mexico
City South Mission from July 1, 1997 until June 30, 2000. A member
of the Dorado Ward, Gomez Palacio Mexico Stake; stake president's counselor;
former stake president's counselor, high councilor, stake mission president's
counselor, bishop's counselor, and missionary in the Mexico Mexico City
South Mission; institute director; received certificate in civil engineering
from Autonoma de Sinaloa University and bachelor's degree in technical
mechanics from Chihuahua Technology Institute; born in Chihuahua, Mexico,
to Mario Soto and Luz Vasquez Moran Carlos; married Yadira Ruvalcaba F.,
three children. She is stake Relief Society president; former stake Young
Women president and counselor, ward Relief Society president, Young Women
president, and Primary president; received bachelor's degree in elementary
education from Benemerito de Las Americas; born in Chihuahua, Mexico, to
Hiram Esparza and Irma Gonzales Flores Ruvalcaba.
David Christensen and his wife Deena have been called to serve
as Mission Presidents presiding over the Chile Santiago North Mission.
Members of the Rexburg 6th Ward, Rexburg Idaho East Stake ; high councilor;
former general Church curriculum chairman and writer, stake president's
counselor, bishop and counselor, Young Men president, Scoutmaster, and
missionary in Mexican Mission; religion professor at Ricks College; received
associate degree from Ricks College, bachelor's degree in child development
and family relations, and master's degree in instructional design from
BYU; born in Farmington, N.M., to Vaughn L. and Irene Cardon Christensen;
married Deena Bond, eight children. She is Young Women president; former
counselor in ward Relief Society presidency, Primary president and teacher,
seminary teacher, Sunday School and Relief Society teacher; nurse; received
bachelor's degree in nursing from BYU; born in Farmington, N.M., to William
Dale and Adelaide Call Bond. They will serve from July 1, 1999 to June
30, 2002.
Felipe Daniel Figueroa Hernandez
On November 5, 1995, Felipe was called to serve as second counselor
in the Veracruz Mexico Villarica Stake. He has served as a stake president's
counselor, stake mission president, stake Young Mens president, bishop
and counselor, and elders quorum president. He is employed as manager of
stores for the Secretary of Education and Culture.
Rodrigo Obeso B. was released as an Area Authority in the Fourth
Quorum of the Seventy during October 2001 General Conference. He
was
sustained to this position on April 5, 1997. Rodrigo was originally
called as Area Authority on August 15, 1995. He's from Mexicali, Mexico,
owns an air conditioning company. He has also served as a regional representative,
former stake president and counselor, and bishop. He is married to the
former Alma A. Gonzalez, who also served in the Mexico Mexico City Mission.

L. Ontiveros
served as President of the Argentina Rosario Mission from July 1, 1996
to June 30, 1999; Benemerito 8th Ward, Mexico City Mexico Zarahemla Stake;
stake president; former stake president, high councilor, stake clerk, bishop
and counselor, and missionary in the Mexico City Mexico Mission; Church
Educational System administrative assistant; born in Colonia Dublan, Mexico,
to Nefi Ontiveros A. and Delfina Lara C. de Ontiveros; married Elsa Gonzalez
P., six children. She is Relief Society president; former stake Relief
Society secretary, Young Women president, Relief Society president's counselor
and teacher, Primary president's counselor; Young Women and Primary teacher,
and seminary teacher, born in Yepachic, Mexico, to Juan Antonio Gonzalez
M. and Ines Pena G. de Gonzalez.
Bryan Pratt
Bryan served from 3/75 to 4/77 and is currently living in North Bend,
Washington.
He married Catherine Webber of his hometown, Toppenish, WA in August
of 1979.
They have two sons: Daniel who is 15 and David who is 11.
Bryan says that he has "worked at Microsoft for nearly 9 years,
and am currently employed as an analyst in the Information Technology
Group."
Amado Rojas G. served as the Mission President of the Mexico
Culiacan Mission from July 1, 1998 to June 30, 2001. He currently resides
in the Valle Ward, Mexico City Mexico Anahuac Stake. He has served as a
mission president's counselor; former counselor in stake presidency, high
councilor, temple ordinance worker, bishop, institute instructor, and missionary
in the Mexico City Mission; family history service center manager for the
Church; received bachelor's degree in business management from BYU; born
in Tecalco, Mexico, to Sidrac Garcia and Juana Lozano Gress Rojas; married
Leonila
Rivera, seven children. She is ward chorister; former counselor in
stake Primary presidency, stake missionary, stake choir director, ward
Primary president, counselor in Relief Society presidency, and seminary
teacher; born in Tecalco, Mexico, to Saul Del Rosario and Isabel Rosales
Trueba Rivera.
Curt Tingey was called June 16, 1996 to serve as second counselor
in the FRUIT HEIGHTS UTAH STAKE PRESIDENCY.
Scott Turner was called to serve as Stake President of the Lacey
Washington Stake on August 15, 1999. Scott currently is director of administrative
services for State of Washington Department of Personnel.
Willis Weight
Willis spent November 1995 in Irian Jaya (western half of New Guinea).
He taught a groundwater course to the geology staff at a copper mine. He
says "I even got to go snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef in northern
Australia."

has his office in the Manwaring Center.
Ron teaches Broadcasting for the Department of Communcation and has
his office in the Kirkham Building. None of us really want to admit that
we have sons and daughters old enough to attend college, now do we?
