This mission was originally named Michigan Dearborn, and it was split off from Michigan Lansing Mission in July 1978. We live in Riverbank, CA (near Modesto, 84 miles east of SF). My oldest son just returned from his mission and it brought back a lot of fond memories for me. I would enjoy getting caught up with all my companions, and others that served in my districts or were my leaders, etc. I haven't conducted an exhaustive search in the records of this site, but I do recall Elders May, Harline, Wilker, Goodell, Poulson, Ahlander, Brady, Bateman, Bingham, Anderson, Ashdown, Brady, VanMeter, etc. Presidents Horton and Cooley were great leaders and incredible men.
P.S. I am also trying to locate a family from the Detroit area by the name of Graham (John and Basila). They would be in their late 50s/early 60s by now. They had three sons. They moved to St. George and then to So California, the last I heard back in the mid-90s. |
