Graduated 2006 with a Bachelors in History, and got married right after graduation. Got a job as a genealogist in SLC. I've been at the genealogy company for 4 years now, and manage about a third of the staff there. I’ve got two kids, a house I remodeled almost single-handedly, and serve as the Ward Clerk. Also served as EQ Pres, YM Pres, Gospel Doctrine Instructor, and several other presidencies.
After about two years in genealogy, we realized it wasn't going to work financially. I began training for a position in Air Traffic Control. We moved to LA for a semester, I got my pilots license, then got hired by the FAA to work at the Boise Airport, after nine months of the grueling application process. Enter congressional budget issues, and now we’ve been delayed another 10 months since we were hired, hoping for a start date soon…
Think about my mission daily, even though it’s almost been ten years. Loved it. Hardest two years of my life, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Would love to hear from you, drop me a line! |
