So some great news for all who have served or been part of the Duluth ward. It has grown to the point that it was approved to split the ward. How cool is that?! Kinda sad though cuz that means half of the people I'm used to seeing at church will no longer be in my ward. But..... they say it is going to be an awesome opportunity for more people to have more involvement in serving the ward. Can't wait till next week to find out who the new Bishop is..... although I think I know who it could be. =)
This last Sunday (27Apr08) my daughter, Lakota was baptized. She was the last baptism of the "Duluth Ward". What a memorable day that will always be! My younger daughter, Malita, is now looking forward to next year when she will be baptized in what will now be referred to as the "Twin Ports Ward". |
