As of this writing, I've been home almost two and a half years. I'm still teaching at the MTC, and loving it. School is progressing; I'm working towards a double major in Broadcasting and History.
I have a wonderful wife (Becky) but no mini-Dowdles yet.
I believe that the Lord rewards his servants with much more than they ever sacrificed- and not just for two years, but for the balance of their lives. Boy the work was hard sometimes, but I suspect all worthwhile experiences must be. At this point, I can honestly say that everything good in my life has come to me because of my Mission. Everything.
I'm grateful for the gospel that brought us all together, and hope we can all continue to live in a way that walks up to the legacy we're now a part of-- the history of the incredible MSLM! |
