Comments: President Frost had a heart attack while in Salt Lake City for a mission presidents' conference approximately one year before he was released. He had surgery, recuperated, and returned to the mission. The way these events unfolded---who he was with, where he was, etc.---was a miracle in itself. Elder Loren C. Dunn, upon visiting the mission while President Frost was home recuperating, reported that it was one of the best-run missions in the world! Sister Frost died a few years after their mission, and President Frost remarried. President Frost was 70 years old and had failing health due to diabetes when he completed his mission. |
