Comments: I've been home for 4 weeks and am currently in Utah.
The world seems so different to me now, it's hard to know exactly where I fit in--it really helps that I have family and good friends to help me a long. Thoughts of my mission bring such profound feelings that it is still hard for me not to get emotional when I think or talk about it. Coming home from a mission felt a lot like losing a loved one--many beloved people all at once. Luckily, the loss is only a temporary one and will be followed by bigger and better things--at least that's what everyone keeps telling me....
To anyone I knew there in Nebraska who might be reading this: thank you SO MUCH for the role you played in my mission experience. Whether large or small, the part played by each of you was an essential component that changed my mission and, in so doing, changed my life as well. I feel an enormous sense of gratitude toward my Heavenly Father for such associations--they are what makes life worth living. The gospel is true. |
