My long-suffering companions will be glad to know that Jane of the Jungle has finally settled down. Keven and I have been running a little factory in Sri Lanka (off the tip of India) for the past couple of years. It's actually working out (except for the civil war; the excellent government tried to shoot down some commercial airliners this spring - luckily their anti-aircraft missiles are as third-world as their military tactics) so we'll probably be here for a while. Stake President Art Taylor from Omaha is just across the way from us in Chennai, India, with his fam. It's a great place and we have a big house if anyone wants to visit. We are part of the Singapore Mission, and there are four awesome little branches on the island, but only a few of the members speak English, so it's a bit lonely. But we live in the jungle and I finally have my Land Rover. Woohoo! |
