I have always lived in the mission field as I was born and raised in Columbia, MO. It is wonderful, however, to live in an area where the missionary work is so strong and to watch the area grow. Omaha has gone from 6 wards, when I first moved here, to 3 stakes. We have a temple, our own mission, and a beautiful visitors Center around the Pioneer Cemetery. The members have worked hard in this area and had tremendous faith. They have greatly been blessed by so many marvels. I am grateful also for the hard working missionaries who have, over the years, made this happen. It is exciting to watch as this area continues to grow and be blessed. |
