What's up ma'peeps!
Things are awesome here in Vegas; yup, still here! Well, Fall '07 semester is in session- wow! Can't believe time is flying like it is! I'm currently attending UNLV for pre-dental requisites, and hope to start applying to dental school later next year.
School keeps me busy most of the time so I don't work much anymore. Last semester I took 19 credits; brief episode of insanity during spring registration, but I stuck it out. This semester is all upper-division sciences, but hardly last's course load.
Whenever I'm not cramming for exams and spending hours at a time in lab, I'm usually on a plane. I don't much care for the big city life so I try to keep sane spending weekends away. I just got back from kayaking with the family up at Coeur d'Alene Lake in Idaho. I can't wait for grad school to finish up; then I can finally live where I want to live.
I live for traveling. I spent last spring in Japan hanging out with (ex-Sister) Nadia Ratajczek. (NEWS FLASH- she got married in July!) We had a blast traveling around to the cities surrounding Osaka: Kyoto, Kobe, Mino, and Nara. We also attended the Grand Sumo Championships in Osaka! The summer was spent in Europe, traveling to France, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland, and Austria. My fun aspiration in life is to see all 7 continents before I'm 30; we'll see.
I continue to be active at church (despite my "issues"; LOL) and holding a calling as Activities Chairman and the world's coolest home teacher. Speaking of church, I just committed a friend of mine to hear the missionary discussions! I'm really excited, and will definitely keep you posted on her progression.
