The year 2012 is on the downhill slide. I realized it had been 2 and 1/2 years since I last updated. We have had a good year with the typical trials families have with health and life. However, two highlights that will be forever remembered is the sealing of my daughter and son-in-law in the Bountiful Utah Temple in March 2012 and the decision my youngest daughter made to serve a mission and her call to the Rome Italy Mission. As we sat in the Bountiful Temple, my wife leaned over to me and stated, "do you realize that all four of our children are here in the temple with use?". What an amazing spiritual feeling came over this first generation member of the Church as the reality of this hit me. We have had our challenges with all of them, but, this year they were all worthy to be in the temple looking towards Jesus Christ.
I love this Church and love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Savior. JOHN |
