I'm grateful for the opportunity I had of serving the Lord full-time in Nevada. for the most part the Saints are incredible and the Lord's work is ever increasing. I loved all those ghetto (or "urban" as Pres. Smith may say) experiences of talkin to crazy people and seein some WILD stuff (hookers, drunk bums, etc.). But, the part I miss most of all is the "pay day" experience of teaching and baptizing some of the greatest people I've ever met. Nothing will ever replace those memories and emotions that the Lord allowed me the priveledge of having to strengthen my testimony even greater of the gospel of Jesus Christ. |
