I also served with Brandon Romney who was a visa waiter, Shawn Gravelle who was a mission transfer from Brazil, and Ariel Martinez who had a mix-up with his visa and was sent back home to Argentina to serve the rest of his mission.
I was married in 2002 and we had Jacob 10 days after our first wedding anniversary. In 2004 my wife and I graduated from Utah State. I earned BA degrees in History and Spanish. We then moved to Washington to be close to family, but have had no success in the job field. In 2005 we added our second son, Porter to our small family. He is as great a joy to watch grow as Jacob has been so far.
We have managed apartments and seem to fly through as many jobs as we can. I finally found my forte in the area that I have been avoiding for years - teaching! I am just beginning school to get my certification in Special Education teaching. Hopefully within a year we will come out of our career slump and begin to move forward once again. |
