As some of you might know, my wife and I live in Port Charlotte, Florida and recently we had been slammed into by Hurricane Charley.
I want a lot of you to know that we're ok and our place sustained very little damage since it is only 2-years old. However any home in this area or in Punta Gorda that was older and not up to the current Hurricane Buiding standards either recieved high amounts of damage or are gone altogether.
We were out of Power and Water for a week and recently it had been restored. Florida Power & Light is working furiously together with out of state power companies to get all areas restored. The relief to this area has been phenominal and we're indeed grateful for all that the church and the community has done to help us all in this time of need.
We've grown to be more thankful for having a home, for having each other, for our daughter, for something called Air Conditioning, and for being spared. May none of you have to experience a Category 4 Hurricane in your lifetime if you haven't already.

I went and got engaged. Crazy I know. Her name is Mary Elizabeth and she is from Taylorsville Utah. The big day is Oct. 9th in the Logan Temple. Everyone else seemed to be getting married so I figured I'd hop on the bandwagon.

Hey everyone! I have some exciting news: I'm getting married this fall to Jason Hickok! We'll get married in the Mt. Timp temple and have a reception in Holladay and Denver. Anyone who is interested in getting an invitation needs to email me with their contact information.

Hi! For all you missionaries who have served in the Sparks 7th ward- The Eastman Family (Shelie, Brian, and Alex) wanted me to let you know that they are getting endowed and sealed in the Reno Temple the last week of August(2004)!! They've been meeting with the missionaries for 10 years (finally got baptized last year!) and would love to hear from anyone that worked with them. If anyone wants to drive to Reno that week, let me know. Thanks, hope life is good ;)

The mission reunion for October 1, 2004 is currently in the works for President and Sister Hill. Oct 1st is the Friday of conference weekend (for those of you who are calendar-challenged like me). It will be held in Orem, UT not far from I-15 freeway. Once I get the exact location I'll post the address and directions. It will be Friday evening for about 2 hours. Exact time will be posted later as well.
