Elder Klein is currently serving in the Riverhead area, the extreme East end of Long Island. He began serving in this area with Elder Brown, with whom he shared many great experiences, and spoke of Elder Brown as an excellent example of a missionary. Elder Brown was tranferred and Elder Klein currently serves with Elder Hatch. The branch is small and rent chapel space for their Sunday meetings from the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Elder Klein writes that "despite adversity and odds, the members have bright testimonies and labor diligently. They have cheery countenances and strong spirits. The Lord is truly magnifying the congregation in our little, rented out chapel, at the extreme East of the island." |
