Life has been great since the mission, although hectic of course. Work has kept me pretty busy- I deal with hazardous materials submittals (lots of paperwork) for clients building new stores, mostly Home Depot, Wal*Mart, some grocery stores and such. I married the most wonderful man in the world about a year and a half ago, and we are expecting our first child (a girl) any day now. I feel ten million times more intimidated to be a mother than I did to be a missionary! It's scary, but exciting...I do miss NY quite a bit and can't wait to go back and visit. I get homesick for it- that year and a half was some of the greatest time (both for growing experience and fun) that I've had in my life. It will have to wait a little while though- maybe once Terence gets through school and our daughter is a little older. |
