Comments: Currently we have four children: Christine (12), Rebekah (10), Joseph (7), and James (4). I say currently because two years ago we had 7 children with the intent to adopt but it just didn't work out. We have fostered 16 children thus far besides adopting our four. We currently have our paperwork in and are pursuing numbers 5...6...7....8? We'll see what the Lord has in mind for us this time. We have a United Nations family. Christine is part Native American, part Fijian. Rebekah is African American. Joseph is a mix of African American, White, and Spanish. And James is a tow-headed white boy.
I am serving as the Scoutmaster for a Spanish branch that is part of my Stake. Love the guys! We have alot of fun together. Last year I took 9 of them snow skiing. 7 of the 9 had never seen snow, none of them had ever seen snow fall. All 9 learned how to ski, they learned that snow is cold, and it snowed on us during our trip!
I loved my mission! NYNY is of course the best mission in the world!
