After serving a year in the Connecticut mission, I became a part of the newly formed New York Utica Mission. In my 18 months, I served in two missions under three different Presidents: Hill, Ensign, and Hatch. I served with Sisters: Summers, Nagel, Leishman, Simpson, Marchant, Naylor, Rose, and Vandertoolen.
I returned home in November of 1994 to continue my education at the University of Utah. In January 1996, Dan (former Elder Going) and I were married in the Jordan River Temple. I graduated from the U of U in June of 1997 with a Health Education degree. After graduating, I worked as a computer software trainer until our son was born. We have four children, Kailey Elizabeth (Jan 1999), Brennen Daniel (October 2000), Ashley Emma (November 2004), and Sampson (November 2007). Dan and I own a home in the Sugarhouse area of Salt Lake. |
