A Plane Ticket to Abuja 02 Oct 2011
I do radio show hosting on the internet, with people from all over; one of those people is an ordained minister from Southern Ontario, Canada, who has befriended some of the young people who work in the illicit trade in email solicitations.

I had served in Venezuela, South America in the early eighties; I have never been to Africa, and neither had the Irish Farm Girl, who had a heart to help the people of west Africa, who had become desperate enough to send bogus emails to strangers in North America.

Reverend T.K.O' Shannahan, or Kathryn as she is known to friends, became immersed in seeking ways to help the people of Nigeria, and those that she coached became her Ambassadors to all of Nigeria and Neighboring Countries.

In January, 2010, a group of pastors began to raise money to bring Kathryn and her interpreter to Nigeria for a wellness and work education crusade; they raised enough for her to come and bring three people, and she invited me to be her cultural liaison; I speak none of the languages and did not have time to renew my passport...so I determined to find an interpreter who spoke igbo and went on YouTube. I found an interpreter, who is the author of a new language for West Africa, called guosa language; combining Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa in each sentence.

After three weeks in Abuja, and down to present day, we have worked with people in and out of the LDS and other churches to bring the technology to train people online, using internet radio and educational videos. We do not charge for these services.

Our young ambassador is in Lagos, and we hope to connect him with members and missionaries, to find work and training in computer or labor. We also hope to establish training centers for language and wellness principles to be taught to young people who are willing to work.
