Comments:
After my mission I went to BYU. I met & married my wife, Diana, in 1966. I spent the 2 years at San Jose State, graduating in August 1968. Diana was severely injured in a car accident & later diagnosed with MS, so we moved to SLC where I worked for NY Life. We transferred to Provo, where I worked 1 year before returning to school to get my teaching credentials. We went to San Jose State where I finished. I taught for Jordan School District, where we lived for 25 years. During this time, I took up running, & gardening and have completed many marathons. I entered the U of U and obtained a master's in Speech Pathology. I worked in Utah as a speech pathologist in adult rehab, then found my current position in Washington. Church positions, including Home Teacher, Young Men's secretary, Sunday School & Primary teacher (several times), Elder's quorum secretary, High Priest's group secretary and counselor, Ward Clerk, Deacon's Quorum advisor, missionary, and teaching Gospel Essentials. 1 Dau, Michelle. We now live at 432 Haven Crest Rd., Draper, UT 84020. Phone 801-571-8326. We have lived here since June 2006.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
