Comments:
Robert Allen Johnson of Midway, Utah, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006.
Robert was a larger-than-life character, full of love and light and good cheer. Robert was born July 22, 1939 to Frances and Elgin Johnson in Star Valley, Wy. Robert served a 3 year mission in Japan, and soon thereafter served in the U.S. Army. An innocent blind date turned momentous when Robert proposed to Charlene Chalk on that same night. They have 7 beautiful children and eight grand-children over their 40 years of
marriage. Robert began a successful career in chiropractic in southern Ca.
The family relocated to the tranquil Heber Valley, Utah in 1985, and bought the old Johnson Mill in Midway. The mill was gradually converted from a home to an inn, and over time, Robert found that he really loved being an innkeeper. We cherish the memories and lessons of our husband, father, and uncle Bob. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 11, 2006 - 1:00 p.m. in the Midway LDS 1st Ward, 250 E. 200 S., Midway. Arrangements - Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, Heber City.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
