Favorite fib: I had never looked into a casket at a viewing until I saw President Kimball lying in state. I looked briefly then averted my eyes and said to my wife. 'I didn't know people were buried in their Temple robes. . . I coninued: I'd rather be buried in my Scout Uniform.' to which my wife said: 'But Peter, President Kimbal is going to heaven.' I rejoined: 'Maybe they'll send me to camp.' Deceased 2015?

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
