My records show that he was transferred to become a Zone Leader in September of 1966. His new companion at that time was Elder Stewart Mann Morris. Elder Morris was going home in the next two or three months so Elder Morris must have been the Sr. companion. That would mean that Elder Perry would have been out about a year. So I would guess he arrived in Japan around Sept of 1965. (this is kind'a fun) I see that Elder Grames was also Elder Perry's companion. However, Elder Perry was a Zone leader in Hokkaido and at this time Elder Perry was Zone Leader in Tokyo, so this was not the time they were companions.
