J. Wayne Sabey died of brain cancer last night (Dec 7, 2009) at about 6 pm. He lived longer than the doctors expected him to. We miss him. He served under Presidents Andrus and Andersen from 1960 to 1963. He taught history at the U of U and taught at the BYU Salt Lake Center for several years. He was President of the Western American Language Insitute for several years. He loved teaching and was very good at it. Wade W Fillmore
