I lived in Pleasant View, Utah from 1979 to 1983. I just retired from Parker Hannifin after 32 years. I have run into many missionaries that went to Japan over the years but none that were there when I was. (Except for Pete Maughan) I knew that one of my early companions Larry Haslam went back as a Mission president. Also my companion on Okinawa for about 9 months, Sam Shimabukuro, became a general authority. I am in the San Clemente 2nd Ward of the Laguna Niguel Stake. My wife, Nina, and I work in the San Diego Temple every Saturday night so you might say we're still active. My youngest of 4 sons is on a Mission to the Dominican Republic. |
